I just love a bit of glitter, juts not the mess that it makes lol.

This is the updated pic of my card, I am really having trouble with the tags I can not find a design that Iam happy with. I am thinking that it may be best to leave them out.

Thank you for the nice things you have said about my cards - the Valentine was very MSE as all the trimmings apart from the small hearts came off other cards & even the hearts were out of a pack of table confetti so I've got loads left if anyone needs?

Rainmac - no, I didn't get caught but deleting them from camera was a real pain. I like your idea for childrens birthday cards.
Jailhousebabe - Meant to say last night I'm hopeless at cutting anything too! I'm left handed & have some LH scissors but it doesn't make any difference I just can't do it neat & no one can bear to watch me slice bread!!!!
What do you all do for verses in your cards? I've got quite a collection off a card making program I bought so if anyone needs one I'm happy to have a look through them & post or pm - it covers all 'occasions'

    Hi,

I've been a busy bee and here are a few of the cards I have made since the weekend. Not sure which one I like best, or why I made Easter cards already! My OH gave me my stamps and embossing powerds today for my birthday, so looking forward to playing with them :D

I like this one and thought it would be easy to do, but found it very fiddly!
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Happy Birthday CT19720 Hope you have a really good day.
Think your cards are great, the flowers look as if they would be fiddly to cut out - love the ric rac, is it braid?

  • Both myself and DD are left handed - I bought her some left handed scissors but can't work them. :rotfl:

I do have lefthanded fabric shears though which are brilliant.

I have an electric knife for bread but OH can't watch me do anything as he thinks I look so awkward - means he takes over the cooking - shame he doesn't feel the same about ironing :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

CT19720 - Oh dear! another symptom of being OLD! The wavy lines on your Easter Eggs look like trimming my Mum used to put on my frocks when I was a little girl & it was called ric rac braid.
ZLS1984 - Really Love your card wonder if the back tag needs to be a bit darker so they show up against the pastels? Hope you don't mind my suggestion:o
Paddingtondoo - Same here re ironing!!!!

I'm left handed too, but it is one of the only things I do as I use scissors , carve meat and play sports with my right. My OH also thinks I'm awkward at times, but that's because he is a pain in the backside sometimes! Both my boys are lefties too, and it so winds the OH up - at least they take after me for something:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .
