All this talk of flowers! I ordered some Prima flowers from ebay (saw a Prima show on QVC last week and fell head over heels in love with the stuff
). From ebay I've ordered:
30 Medium Prima Got Flowers Brown Beige Coffee
30 Medium Prima Got Flowers - Lavender Purple Shades
10 Prima Essentials Paper Flowers DUDE Brights (I love these :happyhear )
30 Medium Prima Got Flowers - Blue Shades
15 Large Prima Got Flowers - Ivory Cream
30 Medium Prima Got Flowers Vintage Muted Shades
10 Prima Paper Flowers Crazy Daisy Chloe
All for £6.99 (free p&p for orders over £6). I thought that was ok? Got them from The Craft Garden/ primaflowerlady.
I've bought 2 small box frames from BHS today for £2 each (were £4 each) - one light wood, one dark and thought I could remove the glass and mount, add a photo and some flowers either with the photo or on the frame itself. What do you think? Melissa, I know this won't be as lovely as your shadow frame but may be slightly similar...?
This is my first dabble with flowers - it's just odd that I came on here today and you guys are talking about flowers too:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thought I'd just let you lovely ladies know that my mum is still doing well
. She's had a cold this week which has made her a bit miserable but is feeling a bit better today so going to see her tomorrow with DS2 who will definitely cheer her up! She gets the results of the tissue that they tested after the operation at the end of next week so that will decide if she needs a further op or straight onto treatment. Got everything crossed for that now.

Furrypig - I have no clue when it comes to stamping - so I'm no help there!!! Sounds like you bought quite a bit. I spent 11.00 and that's with the 50% off, so as you can imagine I ordered quite a few flowers. I have made a few cards with flowers, I'll try and post some pics tomorrow, I have used them more as accents rather than the focal point of the cards. I've used quite a few on scrapbook pages too, they come in really handy when an area looks bare and needs something.
Rainmac - sounds like you've got quite a few goodies there, I have still never ordered anything from artymiss. I'm so glad to haer that you're mum's doing well! I ordered some of those prima flowers a while a go from the same seller, I think I spent about 10.00 - oops!!! Don't be daft - your boxes sound fab and I'm sure that they'll look brilliant.0 -
