Hi
Thinking about buying a stampin up roller as saw one used on someones blog and they look great but where can you get them from?? I think you have to by them from demonstrators??
Any of you stamping experts know???
My friend bought one of those when we went to Harrogate cardcraft show in September but I don't know whose stand it was from and I can't find my list of exhibitors anywhere - will try and remember to ask her on Friday.
The demo was great - she used a snowflake one stamped it clear and embossed it then rubbed coloured ink over the background with a babywipe it was really effective.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi everyone,
I haven't been around much in the last week because real life and work has been getting in the way. I'll try to come up with something for the challenge but I'm lacking inspiration at the moment. I've never taken part in a challenge before so sorry if this is a silly question...are we allowed to use kids colouring/gel pens etc that are lying around the house?
Thanks to everyone who helped with MIL's card. I wanted to use flowers and found these paper roses in a local craft shop sale for 45p/dozen and did the ribbon with my new bow maker bought on ebay. Anyway, I finally got it sorted out and posted off...0 -
Pink...Yes Pens are fine as long as they are not in your craft stash...such as Sukura or any of the ink marker pens but normal felt tips or crayons are good
Lovely card...I know your mom wil be really pleased with that card its so prettyIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
I'm finding the card hard but will persevere (has anyone managed one yet???)
i have lots of 'bits' I keep for scrapbooking/cardmaking that have been used elsewhere eg I took apart 2 hairclips as they had lovely flowers on and DD didn't want them, I also cut the buttons of Ds's schoolshirt that he ruined and I have cut out the thin ribbon from tops (you know when they have those 2 loops to help hang them up). Well these are all great but not sure I can mange a whole card from them without using any bits of stash!! I've tried looking for recycled tips on the internet and not come up with much so far!! I'm obviously not very creative!!!0 -

Thanks for the link as it's not an expensive peice of kit if it's good.
i seem to remember someone posting a bow tying method using a fork but I never got around to trying it out!!! Was that you Rusty???0 -

Hi furrypig,
It's very easy to use and came with clear instructions. I followed the instructions the first few times but now I can do it easily without them. You can move the pegs into different holes depending on the size you want the bow to be...the minimum width of a bow is 1cm and the maximum is 11cm. For all it cost it's been a great buy because I can buy ribbon that will match the card exactly rather than ready made bows which can be a bit hit and miss.
