Hels I can't believe it - and you are only a few miles away!! It has just started to come down heavily for 10 mins but stopped again. I've rung my hubby and nagged him to come home from work in Pontypridd just in case - you know what the valleys are like!!Shelley how mad is that we've got some snow!! My mum sent me a picture of Swansea and there is no snow there at all, here's our garden and my DSLittle Miss Chatterbox

Furrypig - I used to love seven brides when I was a kid, I must have watched it loads of times, I fancied one of the brothers but I can't remember which one now.
Soblivion - glad your nephew's okay now.
Everyone's snow pics are fab. Its been snowing here all day (Liverpool), but its not settled at all.
Rusty - I don't know if I would call myself a "professional", but thanks for the compliment.
Saveapenny - I'm not surprised that you spent that much at docrafts, I spend about 33 quid, but I could easily have spent much more, I wish I had now.0 -
Rainmac - gorgeous cards as always, I love the cross stitched glass of beer.0

So glad your nephew is ok Soblivion, how o earth do you get knocked out by a drum!?
From what I can make out tomfoolery in the classroom, a couple of his mates thought it would be a good idea to pick it up and whack him on the head with it. Apparently he has a big egg sized bump. I don't suspect my nephew was an innocent party in all this but unfortunately he got hurt.
He's okay now thankfully but I know the teacher is not happy, they had to get an ambulance as he couldn't feel anything in his leg or foot on one side for a quite a bit.
Maybe they'll all learn something from it?0 -
Now for the challenge. I thought I would set a valentines card one, but I know a lot of people have done one already. So I thought the challenge would be either a valentine's card or a card with a pink or red theme. Does that sound okay?0

Please can you send some proper snow to me in Cheshire - its been snowing all afternoon but not sticking

I've promised my DH not to spend any money at the mo as I'm off to Gmex this weekend with a shopping list
, and after that I will definitely start making some cards instead of thinking 'ooh thats pretty' and just looking at the stuff I've already got :rotfl: 0
