I think that I read on here that you can go to a shop called the Paper Mill and fill a A4 box with card for about £6. Can anyone confirm that this is true - its just that our nearest Paper Mill shops are 70 miles away either way, and may go out for the day tomorrow to find one of them, but don't want a wasted trip if you can't do it anymore. Thanks.

    Brilliant card Saint Chris.

Yes you still can get the card from paper mill different sizes

Thanks very much - looks like i'm off to Portsmouth or Ashford tomorrow.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

    Wow what amazing creations!

Love the value valentine.. right up my street you are so funny Rustyflange I'd love one of your cards I would really laugh out loud!!
Groovygirl yours is such a great 1st card ..go girl!
Minimacka you are clever 3 kings is so cute hope my fist scrapbook page is as good!
Saintchris your girlie card is fab my daughter would love that!!

I have all the 'bits' out for my male card but not getting very far with making it and Molly still needs to finish hers off. Will try v hard to do it tomorrow as haven't made anything for a couple of weeks. (Oh I lied I v quickly put together OH's valentine yesterday as we're both off on leave now so won't get a chance to craft in private!).

Put the black and silver cards I made in their envelopes and realised I'm gonna have to pay extra postage as the brads are too thick to fit through the standard size frame..shame, not as money saving as I'd hoped, still nice to get a homemade card I guess!

Groovy Girl - brilliant card, can't believe it's your first attempt, you're obviously a natural

Rusty - so love your card it is fab, my OH would love it too, maybe I can commission you to make me one for next year...?

Saint Chris - beautiful card, really love it

melissa - what happened with your cards you needed to make? I always lose inspiration when I am against the clock and I absolutely have to make something there and then. If we lived nearer I'd gladly pop round :D

I had a lovely time at the craft warehouse today. Was very disappointed that they didn't have very much Basic Grey stuff (sorry melissa, did scour the place top to bottom and they only had fibres from one range, called Gypsy and they were £3.99).

They did however have loads and loads of other lovely stuff so managed to more than fill a large bag with things. They had lots of things on offer to make way for new stock so picked up several absolute bargains.

They had a QVC TSV Xmas card making set for £16.99 which I picked up and put down so many times but resisted the urge to buy the 'bargain' as figured it would be better to use up what I have already before buying more - wasn't I good :D :rotfl:

I've done it as well but just stuck them in the postbox with a normal stamp on and they've had to pay the postage :o.

Fortunately MIL has a sense of humour :p

I think you can get a size guide from the post office which tells you how many stamps it needs to be posted.
