Sainsburys mega bargains! (merged)

As you would expect, Sainsbury, like many stores, has reduced their Valentines mini cakes (mini chocolate rolls, chocolate cornflake clusters and cup cakes) to 49p-54p per pack. However, they are still coming up as a multi-buy deal and 68p was deducted from 2 packs at the till, so for example 2 packs of cup cakes at original price of 99p per pack cost 30p for 2 packs.

The dates are long, especially for the clusters (June!) and the Valentines decoration of tiny hearts scattered on top might well suit a little girl's birthday party theme - although I am planning on feeding them to my grown up men!!! :blushing:

Don't know if there is already a thread for this, but this week I have noticed some nice things in Sainsburys with those red labels, grabbed a few for the cupboard, but I'd say there could be different stuff all over the country

+ Taste The Difference Olive Oil with herbs, with peppers - Aprx 80p reduced from about £3
+ Berio Olive Oil, Mild and Gentle - Aprx 80p from about £4
+ Ainsley Harriot Marinades (look for the ones in pots, as these are old stok and the new stock is in bottles) - About 40p from about £1.60
+ Balsamic Vinegar - Various different ones about 75% off
+ Nando's Marinades - some 40p from about £1.60
+ Hellmans Salad dressings - some varieties about 30p from about £1.50

At Sainsburies today they had those mansized Kleenex anti virus tissues. The special ones that are meant to stop colds spreading for 45p a box (should be £2 something a box)

At the tills, by all their leaflet gumph about insurance and banking they had coupons for £5 off clothes when you spend £25.

Just got back from Chesterfield Sainsburys and they are selling

Baco Turkey roasting bags x 2 for 10p (reduced for 99p )

100 Sainsburys small easy seal sandwich bags 45p in blue/green box reduced from £1.65 if I remember correct.

both are in household section and have a Sale sign on them


Not sure if this is store specific but may be worth checking the household section for further Sale reductions

In Sainsburys today there were chamneys gift sets, mens and womens half price. ie now £6 and £5 .
