I've just got back from Sainsburys and unlike my local Mr T they are having a great sale

Wrapping paper reduced from £3.00 to 75p, the same with xmas cards.

I got two girls sleepover kits from £10 to £2.50 and gillette Mach 3 Gift sets from £15 to £3.70ish.

They had loads of other stuff but it was selling fast. :snow_laug

I was in Sainsburys this afternoon and yes lots of bargains.

Someone might want to try this. 1.3KG tins of quality street were reduced from £7.49 to £3.74. I bought one but when I got home realised that before Christmas they were on a 2 for £10 offer with £4.98 being knocked off at the till. Annoyed with myself for not realising in store.

Sainsburys are usually very bad at cancelling their offers so you may find that you can get two tins for £2.51 (2x£3.74 - £4.98). Worth a try if any MSErs are in Sainsburys tomorrow. Let us know if it works.
  • I got Maltesers & Friends Selection Packs @ £1.49 each - with NINE bars/bags of chocolates in! Included was Mars Delight, Galaxy, White Maltesers, 2x Maltesers, Galaxy Minstrels, Revels, Galaxy Ripple & Twix.
2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,

Got one of these today - However, it is a refurbished unit (so it only comes with a six month warranty).

When I got it out of the box, other than a crack to one of the polystyrene blocks protecting the TV, it does look unused.

The picture is fine, played some test DVDs and it has FAST TEXT too.

    Manufacturer: Lodos (Turkey)

51-page instruction is in English, and it states that as well as
DVDs, it will play VCDs, MP3s and JPEGs.

Has rear AV input and one Scart socket.

    Overall, not bad for £39.99
