I purchased this tv from currys last week and can definately recomend it. Its just awesome value for the money and simple to use. Its pretty much plug and play, tunes its self in and all the colour, brightness etc were already set to a very good quality. If you need a new tv get this one.Watch out, you never know who is about.0

I can second this. Even though it's widescreen and flat it's got the picture quality and ease of use of any good early nineties TV. You plug it in and it just works, and looks good. None of the stupid digital processing side effects which are all the rage these days!0 -
I dunno about sainsburys, but in comet for £250 you get a matching stand too, very smart, with 2 glass shelves.0

The Sony 28" is currently £199 in argos at the mo (does not include the stand)

RevSteve wrote:Someone might want to try this. 1.3KG tins of quality street were reduced from £7.49 to £3.74. I bought one but when I got home realised that before Christmas they were on a 2 for £10 offer with £4.98 being knocked off at the till. Annoyed with myself for not realising in store.
Sainsburys are usually very bad at cancelling their offers so you may find that you can get two tins for £2.51 (2x£3.74 - £4.98). Worth a try if any MSErs are in Sainsburys tomorrow. Let us know if it works.
I bought two earlier today, without realising the ofer wasn't as good as I thought - receipt says £7.48 - no extra
