I need help resisting going in to sains. now - It's just next door to the gym I have joined and it's so easy to pop in. Oh well, I am saving my goodies up for presents, got some stuff to pamper myself, and my kids think I'm SO kind bcos of the lollies!
They have got some weird stuff in which wasnt there before xmas - board games and throws/cushions etc. and it's only a little city centre store.

  • Was at Sainsburys (Preston) yesterday, they had Snack A Jacks for 22p each, also Charmin loo rolls half price, 9 roll bag but large loo rolls so equivalent to 18 (said on the pack) reduced from £5.99 to £2.99 so I grabbed a couple. Also have Red Label cheddar cheese half price, don't normally do Sainsburys but I was impressed!
    February Grocery Challenge £250.00

Spend so far £230!! (Ohhh my days HELP) still got almost 2 weeks left!!
  • Hi,

Our local Sanisburys (Burton on Trent) has double duvets 13.5 Tog at £9.99, and also some Aigo folding battery powered speakers for half price at £9.99 too.

The speakers come complete with batteries, and actually the sound quality is quite respectable, especially given that I usually listen to speech on my MP3 player.

    Hope that helps someone.

    Regards,

    White

a big thank you to everyone here.
I strolled to the back of our Sainsbury's store and found that the irons were reduced from £50 to £19;99.
Yes I did need a new iron, the last one we had for about 16yrs but the thermastat went bonkers.
Any way the iron that was reduced on the ticket was no longer on the shelf or in stock. The kind lady said sorry.
I said well you are still advertising them for sale and at a reduced price as you cannot sell me one I'll have one of these £50 irons instead that are not reduced.
the lady phone the office they agreed and I got a top of the range iron knocked down from £50 to £19.
    very chuffed.
used the Amex with cashback and also nectar points.
    thanks once again everyone
