Other than that - he says has stuck to the item description and has been honest from day one. If I want (!) I can get my credit card company involved - and finally, he states he does not wat his personal information spread around as he expects me respect that it is confidential - not quite sure what he means by that.

He might have meant it purely hypothetically, or maybe he means he doesn't want you to discuss the case on internet forums!

went through e-bay but resolution centre seems to be paypal? Anyway - done now - sit back and wait. Have also contacted my credit card company.
