I forgot - I baked some cupcakes for the office to raise money for children in need . And yesterday I realised that for six months I have been paying double amounts into my egg account, as I hadn't realised that I had both a DD and was doing it manually too. NUMPTY! So that's why my overdraft hasn't been reducing....

I haven't done very well today, but i'm blaming the tonsillitus! The dr sorta looked at my tonsils and went "oh dear" in the way they have.

money saving....hmmm well I bought soluble paracetamol (dr recc'd as it works quicker) in wilkos which was cheap, and am having a storecupboard lunch today. But I spent £15 on a vanilla spice body butter. The only good thing about that is that Body Shop body butter is the only thing that really works on my feet, it'll be a cheap way to feel pretty and it will actually last me 6 months. apart from that I'm a bit ashamed of myself, spending £15 on a luxury.

Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Hope you are on the up soon. As for being ashamed of buying yourself a treat....DON'T!!! You are allowed to treat yourself you know! And Vanilla spice body butter sounds divine!!

Thanks Miss Piggy! It is. I caught a waft of it as I walked past the shop and it sucked me in! I also kinda bought it as an alternative to a cream cake and a new top, in terms of cheering myself up. Thanks for the well wishes, i should be fine, it's odd though apparently they don't prescribe anti-biotics for tonsillitus now unless it gets really bad. Hopefully should clear up before my first day at work! xx

  • Talk about that Friday feeling - my office is empty...where are they all hiding?

Yesterday I found 3 sheep wandering lost in my willow fields - not my old sheep - just three sheep - think they were out of a jaunt?

Getting back on with some work

    - grr went home at lunch to find that checking my cc statement is great, but if I hadn't cancelled the dd (so they say) then I wouldnt have missed a payment and been charged £12 grrr. Therefore obsessively checking bank only works if you remember to pay the card - infact I had paid £500 to it when paid, but turns out it was a day too late - the bleeeeeeeps.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Afternoon all and a special welcome to all the newbies, nice to see you on here.

Mickey, have a nice time at the craft show, with all your £2's.

Happy bday for tomorrow miss piggy, enjoy a fun filled day doing whatever it is you want to do on your bday!!

Piq, wow that is such a crazy yet excititng plot line, perhaps perceived differently seeing as it is real life. However if we only live once then we should all do whats right for each one of us.

Tallie, your total for your student loans is looking fantastic:T How have you managed all that:shocked:

Cerisa hope you feel better soon.

Ktjass, am going to Edingburgh at the end of the month, any tips or places worth checking out?!

Everyone else, enjoy that friday feeling;)

    So, today's plan of action!!
-Been to work and earned my pennies
-Put some leaflets in church hall at work for my business
-Left car at work and went into town, saving car parking fees plus free exercise
-Put some business postcards up, only managed to put them up in two shops though, most shops wouldn't accept them so it was a bit disheartening
    -Did a mystery shops
-Bought a birthday pressie for next year and got it free thanks to a mystery shop, plus it was reduced so didn't have to pay any of my own money
-Phoned a client back but couldn't get in touch with them
-Phoned someone back and it turned out to be someone trying to flog me advertising who when i cut to the chase, was very rude to me because i wasn't going to fall for his carp!!
-Receieved £25 check from dialaphone for sending statement back in time, well pleased

-Off to check dialaphone to see when other statements need to be sent and then will write them in my diary.
-Have checked site for business advice
-Have done checks and advertising work for business

-Despite wanting to, i avoided the shop and avoided buying myself a bottle of wine, instead i will use up some of the booze we have had in the house for ages!!
-Will unpack car of all massage gear
-Write up treatments from last night
-Get up to date with spreadsheets and challenges

-Will sort out stuff for course tomorrow
-Will sort out advertising material, as i will go into nearby town tomorrow and try and distribute some of my advertising material
-Have emailed someone back regarding buying gift vouchers from me
-Work on ear candling case studies
-Have kept heating off for as long as poss and won't put it on till at least 4
-Sort out pile of clean clothes and try and get away with not ironing many of them and put them away
-Need to write up mystery shopping report
    -Look for more mystery shops

    -Work through emails
    -Do some surveys
    -Make meals from storecupboard
    -Start nvq homework
-Sort out working hours for next week
-sort out what homework i have left to do and need to get up to date with
-sort out next stages of advertising

Have a great day everyone and a superb start to the weekend.
