2.3 Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive."

Thanks i did follow this last year but didn't panic as hadn't ordered anything however applied this time for a crfedit account as was stated so not sure about it all now !! PANIC< PANIC Is it all worthwhile ???

As you applied for a credit account then if they decided that you hadnt received the offer direct from them then they could just add the amount (£30) to your account. Maybe sign up to their newsletter and they might send you an opening offer.

I've just placed an order and used the code in the first post. I didn't realise marshall ward and empire stores are the same company, doh! I should have used the code they sent to me:rolleyes: I will just have to wait and see what happens now!

You should be ok if they have already sent you one item. When did you place your order?

I just paid by my debit card and got worried there by you guys saying you would have to be accepted for a credit account.

Went to check my bank and goods were delivered yesterday and they had also charged me the full amount but given me the £30 refund so hopefully thats me sorted.

hi sally06 lol i've popped on here as well

i ordered and the bits have arrived today, i paid via debit card and the amount is sitting pending at 55.xx, so i am not opening the bags until i have been given the refund of the 30 pounds first, then i will have a peek.

i think littlewoods/who ever owns the codes should sort out the system there end before jumping on everyone here, but then if they did that i suppose with all the checks they would have to do, nobody would get a credit account.................

Has anyone managed to use ZQ877 at Empire Stores? I was emailed this code but it doesn't seem to work, no matter how much I add to my basket....am wary of using another site after reading the T & Cs.... xx

that's the same code they sent to me, but I haven't used it yet. I noticed empire stores charge much more for their goods than marshall ward. I thought they were basically the same company

i've done an order the 30.00 went in first then they took the whole amount out all the same day hth :beer:
