This code worked for me. I opened a new account in my mums name. I ordered a Doctor Who scooter, Some new nice roller blades, and a scalealectrix set, all for 32.00 including delivery. It would have cost £92.00

    Excellent !!!!

    empire stores sent me a 30.00 off WYS 60.00 code - ZQ877

It states for new customers only. I was going to order 3 4 2s, but I read the T&Cs and not sure if I should use the code incase they charge me full price.

This is the bit I'm worried about:"The discount is available to new customers only and is conditional on being accepted for a Empire Stores credit account, acceptance is subject to status. If you are not accepted for a credit account you will not be entitled to the discount. Minimum order value £60. Returned goods will not count towards the value of the order. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer"

I used a similar discount code today for Marshall Ward (they are all part of Littlewoods) and it tells you straight away if you have been accepted for a credit account so you dont have to worry :). For the people worrying about having to pay back money later because the code wasn't given to you...I solved this by signing up to Marshall Wards email newsletter. I did this sunday and today in my email I recieved the code for £30 off wys £60. Hope this helps,

I was more worried about the bit where it says: "This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer" as I was thinking of ordering the 3 4 2s. I suppose I could place an order and if they charge me full price I can always return the stuff;) I think I will be brave and give it a try:D

I'm worried too, signed up for a credit account as well and used the code and the 3 for 2 offer, everything has been accepted and they have sent me 1 item already but nervous after reading everything on here, not really sure what to do
  • I urge everyone to be careful when using these codes. There was big problems early this year/late last year regarding these codes and Littlewoods and I admit I got stung until Martin stepped in and Littlewoods relented but Martin stated that it wouldnt happen again.

I placed an order with a code that I wasnt supplied with and a few months later I got a letter stating I used a code that I wasnt entitled to and that they wanted the money from me. They threatened to get debt collectors involved and I relented and paid as it wasn't worth the hassle.

Everyone was up in arms regarding this stating that the discount shouldnt have been applied if it wasnt valid but Littlewoods got out of it stating that "The discount is available to new customers only and is conditional on being accepted for a Empire Stores credit account, acceptance is subject to status. If you are not accepted for a credit account you will not be entitled to the discount. Minimum order value £60."

I'm not trying to rain on everyones parade but PLEASE PLEASE think carefully before placing an order. It may just come back to bite you. I will look for the relevent thread.

    This bit is relevent:

    £25 Discount Voucher Code Issue

Further to the recent issue of the abuse of a specific £25 discount code; the Company acknowledges that while we were entitled to take a firm stance against this code abuse, as supported by Liverpool Trading Standards, the fact that we have done so has caused concern amongst some of our customers.

As a gesture of goodwill, on this occasion the Company has agreed it will take no further action to claim the £25 from those people who were not entitled to the discount. In addition, for those customers who have already paid the £25, it will make a refund of this amount. Any additional related charges will be refunded, or reversed if not yet paid.

Customers have the responsibility to ensure they are using a discount for which they are eligible. Our terms & conditions (attached) make it clear that promotional codes must only be used by customers who qualify for them. These can be viewed on the website.

The Company confirms that no default information will appear at the credit reference agencies as a result of the action it has taken.

If in doubt customers should only use discount codes which have been given to them directly by the Company, and should check the conditions which apply to them.

Littlewoods Terms & Conditions relating to discount vouchers

2.3 Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive."
