Samsung or LG lcd tv?

Dont know what others have found but 2 of my friends have samsung tv's and dvd players but could not set them up i tried to help one of them but after 2 hours gave up it just seemed too complicated to set up and use as others have said panasonic is the way forward. simple and straight forward that the way i like it!!!0
