Of those two the I'd buy the Samsung. However LG now do a 32" Plasma that's getting good reviews and I'd buy that as I prefer Plasmas. Depends if you need full HD or not as well though.

  • Make sure you check the prices at Comet as well...

I recently bought a 37" Samsung 6 series flat panel, the same model was £60 cheaper in Comet(compared to Currys) and I also got a very nice TV stand with it for £50 (was normally £90 on its own).

Hi thanks, i really like the look of the LG and Samsung, they are very similar and although i know it matters what they are like i have my heart set on one so no going to plasma for me im afraid! We had a £4k one at work which imo was rubbish, you had to sit at a particular angle to see properly which would annoy me! know there not all like that but still.

I agree. 'Which?' reports put Panasonic streets ahead of other manufacturers.

Strange as LCDs have had problems with viewing angles in the past (they much better now) whereas Plasmas haven't. Plasmas are generally considered to be better for SD stuff as well whoch is what most people are still watching.
