The phone number should be on it.
JaffaR.I.P Sam, still in my heart0 -
Poor smashed. You certainly are in a quandary and I certainly wouldn't like to be in your shoes! On one hand he looks utterly genuine but on the other hand he COULD be a fraud.
If you have his name and address why don't you phone directory enquiries for his phone number and then give him a ring. I'm sure if he's genuine he wouldn't mind that at all.
What a pickle!0 -
type name & address into 192.com and see what comes up......the person might be ex-directory though

If you are satisfied from the emails you exchanged with the buyer, and he has an AOL id (not usually used by scammers), you might be ok.
X fingers!0 -
Got the number thanks to Jaffa, but havent phoned yet as I dont know what I should say. I dont want to offend, but I need to think of a conversation that will give me some info

Thought I would leave it until tomorrow, so at least I could say I was phoning to confirm it was being sent.
Looked up his postcode on google, and found the below website. It appears to be just 2 doors away from his house, but perhaps this company is a work from home place.
I may phone that also and ask some questions.

Thanks for all the help

192.com was a great idea

He is on there, the last of 4 people. It appears to be mum, dad, sister and him.
Which also sounds quite positive hopefully.Be nice0 -
I've just thought of something. What if he's a member of mse?
However, I'm sure that he won't be offended if you phone and just say that there are so many scammers around that you have been advised to check. I know that *I* wouldn't mind a phone call like that and would actually think that you were on the ball.
Good luck!0 -
P.S. I've just looked up the website that you mentioned and I got a Dr.Bod CD from ebay about a year ago so someone in his family is genuine!0

Dr Bod would be his nextdoor neighbour, which is also on 192.com.
Im feeling a bit better now. I know where the person lives etc, and it could well be a Xmas present, joined up with money from aunties etc.
Perhaps I should delete the info on the thread so not every1 can search their history ?
Spooky that you know dr bodBe nice0 -

Spooky that you know dr bod
Now it makes more sense My opinion is that he would be more trustworthy as he would have taken advice from his next door neighbour. As far as I can remember, dr bod sold a lot on ebay and I know that I was happy with my purchase.
I honestly believe that you're quite safe.0 -
The money is in my account, so I will videophone the 360 bein boxed and then sent to the post office. Just to protect myself a bit more.
Thanks for the responses....
If I lose the money somehow, at least I havent lost my lives like the people last Boxing Day.Be nice0
