OMG, what a night. It's taken me hours to finally get my order accepted but I got there in the end, and managed to use the free delivery and 5% discount codes, and Quidco. I think I've earned them. Let's hope Debenhams can improve their systems before their next sale. Worse than useless!!! Keep trying , you'll get there eventually. Good luck.

Thanks for the tips and codes on here - OH smashed a plate tonight and I've managed to order a replacement reduced and a treat for me too with my birthday money. Quidco has tracked too. Crashed 3 times but refreshing sorted it each time.

I was in my local store today too and got something for OH's birthday - but it was quite busy - although not as bad as M+S.

Placed my order at 8am this morning without issues using Firefox, so hopefully the website is behaving better now!

Didn't get much though, just a few Christmas cards and decorations - oh, and a beauty case reduced to £10 that I couldn't resist. Tut!

BTW, I also successfully used both codes - so got free delivery and and extra 5% off! (Sindy's post #26) just by typing both together separated by a comma into the promotion code box.

I know Debenhams will only give you an exchange or store credit if an item is 50% off, but what about these things that are 25% off? There are a couple of blouses I like, but I won't know if I want to keep them until I try them on. And I really don't want store credit if I have to return them as I almost never shop at Debenhams (I bought one thing for 7.50 a couple of months ago, returned it and was told I could only have credit because it was half off, and I still haven't found a use for the 7.50 gift card, lol).

When I type in debenhams (thru Firefox) it just gives an error page with an apology from Debenhams telling you to go to the store.
However, you can get in by clicking one of the links in the op's first post.

That L'Occitane set is very tempting, lol.

Stuff it, I went ahead and placed the order. And wouldn't you know, it wouldn't go through the first time at the payment stage, and when I did it the second time they were out of the top I had been lusting for. But I got the other items (possibly, we'll see what arrives).
