I have just discovered that my next door neighbour had an Icesave easy access account and received her 2nd email at the beginning of last week and naturally has her money back by now. She needs her 5 thousand like I need a hole in the head.

Is there no justice in this world ?

More important, has this put the mockers on my postcode coming out of the hat anytime soon ?

This supposedly anodyne statement does not seem to be borne out by our perceived reality.

I wonder what triggered this announcement today ? Has the Daily Mail journalist who was emailed by a forum member managed to convey the frustration and anger building up here ? Perhaps someone from the PR department has actually read a few posts .

Message to the FSCS is just because our bank defaulted and we lost our money does not mean we are gullible fools.

Do we reckon vast majority in FSCS speak is 90% or what ? So they will get 2nd emails by Monday 30th and money by 3rd/4th December. And what of the other 20,000 people ?
