Casabiosca I got mine over a week ago. It cleared in my linked account yesterday, but I said I would stay here until everyone had got their dosh back. There's still quite a few waiting and I really feel sorry for all of you. It seems so unfair.0

Some blatant plagiarism here. I pinched this off the moneysupermarket forum so some of you may have already seen it. Seems to outline the Icelandic Business Model quite well:
Stage 1 - Pay IT company to compile convincing website, ensuring the inclusion of a protection policy in the event Icesave collapses
Stage 2 - Tell everyone Icesave will not collapse
Stage 3 - Continue opening accounts and stealing people's life savings right up to the day of collapse
Stage 4 - Book prime slot on a radio station day before collapse to lie to everyone that Icesave will not collapse and to reaffirm the protection policy
Stage 5 - Icesave collapses
Stage 6 - All customers bar Icelandic ones denied access to their account
Stage 7 - All Icelandic customers granted full access to everyone's accounts
Stage 8 - Prime Minister make pompous statement confirming he has no intention of honouring his legal and moral responsibility for overseas customers
Stage 9 - Prime Minister growls at the UK and threaten to sue them
Stage 10 - Prime Minister refused loan from IMF
Stage 11 - Prime Minister realises he cannot win and mumbles half hearted intention to pay first £16,000 back to Icesave depositors but only after they have suffered extreme stress, confusion, upset and anger0 -

Morning all. Early log in before I go to play "olf". No sign of anything at Icesave for today but what did I expect? Couldn't get back to sleep thinking about pound signs.
Have left my wife with all my log in details justin case I receive an e-mail on my phone while I am on the 9th green. Ever the optimist :rotfl: .
Putting her in charge of plan B to organise the mortgage drawdown and getting special delivery for my BM and KRBC applications.
Life is not simple at the moment!0 -
