    Got wife's money from Icesave in acct tonight , initiated on Sunday after finding 2nd email,only remains for my 2nd email to turn up now

    not bad really 1/2 way there.

  • Got my second e-mail and made a claim Monday. The money is in my linked account this morning.

    I never moaned about the process once. It seems to have worked....

    From FSCS FAQ:

    8. I haven't received the first email from FSCS. What should I do?
    Anyone who has not yet received the first email should contact us using a special email address set up for this purpose. Please email us, using the email address used for your Icesave account, at [EMAIL="Icesave@fscs.org.uk"]Icesave@fscs.org.uk[/EMAIL], putting the word "REQUEST" in the subject line. You do not need to write anything else and you do not need to provide any additional information. This will generate an automated response from us which contains the first email.
    This response may take longer for some people depending on your internet service provider's spam filters. Please acknowledge your copy of the first email by sending a response with the word "CONFIRM" in the subject line to confirm you have received it. This is very important because it will allow us to double check your email address on the system.
    The fact that you have not yet received your e-mail does not necessarily mean that you will not be able to participate in the automated process

    Why are they changing the bloody process AGAIN! Does this now mean anyone who did not get the first email automatically and did it the other way will have to resubmit with this new instruction, this is really starting to !!!! me off.

    Me too, I think that those of us who didnt get the first one and then had to ****y around changing email adresseses and then sending blank ones, are probably now at the back of the queue whilst they cross reference all the *****y email addressess!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
