Why not buy a couple of sheets of gold foil and wrap whatever you like in it?

I managed to get some cheap plastic glasses from Tesco 23p each and I'm using Tesco's toffees, they've got lovely shiny gold wrappers. They're only 45p a bag and fill the glasses well. Just need to get the scratch cards now . . .

what colour were the glasses? where abouts in the store were they? I had a quick look today but only remembered at the last minute and was in a rush by then!

This is the poem I attached to mine with a little picture of a pot of gold :
    Pot of Gold
Here’s a little pot of gold,
    A festive nibble too,
I hope that it will make,
All of your dreams come true,
    Have a very Merry Christmas,

  • Marks and Spencer are doing bags of sweeties with gold wrappers (eclairs and toffees I think), also some with silver and blue. Think they are 99p a bag. I bought one bag of each and 'sprinkled' over my hampers.

Loving the Pot of Gold idea.
  • I've just found these on ebay. I'm away to order some for my pots of gold. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200276539767&_trksid=p2759.l1259
