Not sure, but you then cant sell them to under 16 yr olds, as its against the law for them to gamble :)

  • Hi

I am going to have a stand at my local sale and was going to make up a load of these as something fairly cheap people could buy and take away there and then, but am now wondering about the legal implications of them containing scratch cards? Is this again'st the law?
    Thanks
    Katie

I dont put scratchcards in the ones I sell but instead I put one of those christmas wishes chocolates which are 2 for £1.00 in tesco not sure of the legal implications but I am sure you are not supposed to resell scratchcards so I chose to spend the extra on a nice choccie to go in instead also this way you can sell to kids or for kids.

I got clear containers from poundland and I'm going to use gold tissue that Aldi have in store, and use clear cellophane to wrap them.

glad ive seen this thread, these would be a great idea for the kids to make for their grandparents, will have a look for some bits but am thinking of just getting some plastic cups like you would use for a party and some gold ribbon to tie round so the kids can do it them selves, the cups would also come in handy for putting home made chocs and biscuits in too i think

Where is best to purchase cellophane?
