I'm going to do a pot of gold for my Mums birthday in a couple of weeks as I don't think I can wait for Christmas! Thanks everyone for the ideas. She likes gardening so maybe there's some seeds or bulbs that I could include.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

I'm definitely going to make some of these for presents throughout the year. I've got my plan made out of when peoples' birthdays happen, and I think a little pot of gold will be an "extra present". Thanks for this, I have some glasses left over from my wedding earlier this year so some additional bits and bobs (might buy some chocolate coins if the use by dates streeeetch far enough ahead), etc.

Hi giggle, I'm making pots of gold this year, they went down a storm at the craft fairs I did last year.
I have bought my plastic gold cups and I also got some gold napkins too, to line the inside. I got them from Matalan in the sale, well chuffed with them, all I need to do is but the contents.0 -
I bought some dishes and cello to make these last year but never got round to it - maybe this year
Probably use them for the dinner table, got the inlaws over this year.

Out of 30 x £1 scratchcards we had:
11 non winners,
9 x £1
5 x £2
4 x £10
1 x £50 (MIL was quite impressed with her little windfall)
