It wont bulk out your pot, but i added gold stars, christmas trees and reindeer shaped table confetti to my pots. I got them from the local card factory shop for 0.99p each and i've done 10 pots and have loads left.0

not done mine yet but i have bought some cheap gold lamnetta i know thats spelt wrong lol but you know what i mean the tinsel stuff
but they look good are you going to wrap them up
what ever you devide on the people who they are for will love them
as for cheap bowls they had nice ones in morrisons xmas plastic ones 99p and they were bogofhth
I will wrap them in cellophane, but I have ran out at the minute, have to put some finishing touches to them still aswellThought about adding a lottery ticket to each one but now I don't think I will. I might even have some bags that I can use instead of cello then I just need to try and find some gold curling ribbon

Excuse me butting in, why don't you get a tin of gold spray paint [they do matt and shiny], then you can pick the right shape and size of pot [and use something dead cheap]to suit your stuff.0

I'm doing a variation on the theme!! I've used clean empty pots from the new Activia yogurts (they look like ali baba pots iyswim!)
I've filled them with gold coins and will add the scratchcard and werthers or similar and then wrap with gold ribbon. I'm using them as place settings for christmas lunch so each one of us will get one - including me!! my kids are over the moon that they get included and it's a surprise for my mum as she's having us all round to hers!0
