I have only put scratch cards in the ones
for grown ups,you could always put a
packet of sun flower seeds in the kids
ones for them to have a go at growing
next year, perhaps a gift voucher or
a £1 coin:j:j:j0 -

After hunting around our local shops for suitable pots (and unable to get to Ikea!), I found small white bowls in wilkos for 50p each!!!!
They are a perfect size, and I've filled them with Ferrero Rocher, Werthers sweets & some choc coins, I just have the scratch cards to buy. I'm making 3 for my youngest's teachers, I hope they like them.
I lined the bottom of the bowls with gold tinsel too (50p for a 2m strand), in keeping with the gold theme.....can't wait to get them wrapped up!!0 -

I love these. I'm going to do some to give my little sisters, its a much better way of giving them chocolate coins. But i'm going to cut out 2 circles of netted material that i already have(and don't know what to do with), put the coins in the middle and maybe some eclairs. Scrunch them together and tie with either curling ribbon or tinsel.
May also do some to put on the table for New Years as we are away for Christmas.0 -
I've had to make up 8 this evening for my son's teachers and helpers. I popped into a local florist for some cello but she didn't have anything gold so I opted for the blue snowflake one.
I bought the pots from Ikea £1.29 for 3 - I actually prefer these to the larger ones i made and posted previously.
My friend popped in tonight when I was making one and she loved them and ended up taking one home with her for her daughter's teacher!!!!Little Miss Chatterbox
