My pot of gold poem - I'll post pics soon. I made huge ones with full size chocolate bars (all gold or yellow wrapping) with those chocolate mint circle things, chocolate coins and some scratch cards. Not exactly money saving because they turned out to be about £10-£14 each but alot more chocolate than a couple of selection boxes and they'll be alt more appriciated.
I met a little leprechaun
who gave me his pot of gold
I sprinkled on some fairy dust
but it's treasures remained untold
I'm giving you this festive treat
while wishing good luck your way
so scratch these cards and make a wish
and enjoy your chocolate feast. If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -

Here's mine!! I've done four, one for each of the staff at DS's welsh playgroup. DH helped out by translating the poem from this thread into welsh for me (and still managing to keep it rhyming!). It goes
Dyma crochan bychan aur
Yn cynnwys losin melys
Gan obeithio y bydd hwn yn peri
Gwyl Nadolig bleserus
Work that one out if you can :D.
Btw, it's the good old Ikea 79p glasses, some ferrero rocher, werthers and gold coins, with one scratch card per pot.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
ladsmadd, where did you get the leprechaun? brilliant pots everyone. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090
