This thread HERE has details about the 30 free texts from Orange.

    Hope that helps. :)
  • Oh Yeah, the real name for the '% Texts a Day for Life' is:

    Orange Out There

So search for that if you want to look in the future!

    Point you in this direction:
Orange a few years ago did a package that cost only £15. It came with £5 credit, and 5 Texts a day FOR LIFE! You read it right, FOR LIFE! Then they realised that they would lose a LOT of money so they stopped selling it, and planned on taking it off everyone who already had it. Someone intervened, complained, got authorities involved, and Orange were told they couldn't take it off people who already purchased it.

I remember that, I got in on the deal about 4 years ago luckily, and still get the 5 free texts and I think a few minutes emergency call time when my credit runs out. It's such a good deal as I rarely send more than 5 texts in a day and don't often use my phone to call out, only to recieve calls. I can go a few months on just a tenner :D
There was a point where they tried to reduce it to 2 free texts a day and did for a bit, but then I recieved a letter saying they were going to put it back to 5, so I guess you just explained how that happened. :)
  • Yep, I go about £5 every 2 - 3 months myself!

Except for the past 2 months, i've been using that 50 Free Minutes Tip per o2 Sim Card, that Muhammid posted! Thanks to him!

In a couple of months, i'll be going back to Orange though!!

Actually, it was originally called Orange Out Here (which is the unlimited one for life). Then came Orange Text Saver which is (was) only valid for 1 year.

You can phone up and have them apply the SMS Try bundle which is free and will get him 30 free SMS for one month. You can also get the MMS Try bundle, which is similar but for 30 picture messages instead.

    Regards,
    Stephen
