NI Presbyterian mutual society, Short of funds for withdrawal?

EXTRACT from William Hague’s keynote Unionist conference speech
I know there’s another issue that exercises a great many people both inside and outside this room – the Presbyterian Mutual Society.
We understand the unfairness that investors feel, particularly when it was government assistance to other UK financial institutions that contributed to the problems in the first place. It’s another example of Labour’s mismanagement of the financial services sector.
So as David Cameron has said, there’s a real case for the prime minister to look again at this issue. And if he won’t do it in a meaningful and serious way then the next Conservative government will.

(2) for what reasons the report by the Prime Minister's working group on the Presbyterian Mutual Society has not yet been published. [295811]
Sarah McCarthy-Fry: The Working Group is examining a number of options, all of which raise complex issues. The Group wants to ensure that it has explored all issues carefully before reporting to the Prime Minister.
Lady Hermon: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what steps his Department took to examine the financial activities of the Presbyterian Mutual Society (a) prior to and (b) following devolution in Northern Ireland. [295857]
Sarah McCarthy-Fry: The Treasury had no responsibility for regulating the financial activities of PMS either before or following devolution.
Goodbyepci thanks for your post.
I was approached today by newspaper columnist asking for names for contact of people suffering because of the PMS debacle.
He told me his paper was doing a feature to mark the first anniversary of PMS going into administration.
This suggests to me that this newspaper still expects that on 15 November we shall all still be in a state of limbo and many of us in dire poverty.
Have we reached a stage where we should be considering
1 A mass assembly on the steps of Parliament Buildings at Stormont
2 Arranging a "sit in" at PMS offices in Glengall Street
3 Challenging the administrator's application in the High Court for an extension of his period of administration and his being allowed to 'carry on business by correspondence' rather than having a meeting of creditors and the appointment of a creditors' committee.0 -

Sarah McCarthy-Fry: The Ministerial Working Group on the *Presbyterian
Mutual Society* has received representations from a range of
stakeholders. It is not the Government's practice to disclose details of
all such representations.0 -
Have there been any meetings of the lobbying folk lately ?0

I resigned from the PMS Savers Coalition on 20Th September but haven't heard any talk of any meetings in the meantime.
As far as I know, the small group of savers who meet on an ad hoc basis at Donaghadee are not planning to meet again until after the working party's findings are published.
I am not aware of any other meeting being planned by any other groups.0 -
