PMS, according to FSA was not operating as a bank. (Newsletter 10th April 2009)
Newsletter - Saturday 11th April 2009 - quote: "So far Gordon Brown has argued that the problems of the PMS are a devolved matter and nothing to do with UK Government."
Devolved government inevitably puts the spotlight back on DETI and Arlene Foster.
Arlene has been very very quiet in all of this for some time.
Suggestion: start lobbying Ms. Foster intensely about PMS.
For those of you who have already sent letters, send another one now, explaining your present circumstances since last time you wrote. Forget the stiff upper, Presbyterian lip.
Many Presbyterians are reduced to trembling with anxiety and nerves so do every PMS member a favour and get writing to her.
For those of you who have never written, start right now.

Well there we have it - Christmas has come and gone - and now Easter is nearly over too!!
Still no word of our savings.
Hope you have all written your letters to the Mrs Foster as the last poster suggested.0 -

No new information here but the PMS website now seems to be standalone and completely separate from the PCI site. I think the only information that appears here will be information you would have got anyway but probably useful to bookmark the new site for reference anyway.0 -
On the afternoon of Tuesday 2nd June there will be an Open Session of the General Board of the General Assembly which PMS investors (and any member of the public) can attend. The only stipulation is that PMS investors and other observers are seated in the gallery.
Now there is no excuse to attend - book your day off work, organise to be there. There is strength in numbers and for those who cannot get into the gallery, a show of strength outside Church House will be a mark of solidarity and strength of feeling.
I will double-check this date and time nearer to the occasion just in case the timetable should be altered but Tuesday 2nd June (afternoon session) has come directly from the Clerk's Office in Church House this morning.0 -
Reply from Clerk re attending / asking questions at Assembly.
"Everyone is welcome but only members of Assembly can speak or ask questions without the permission of the Assembly, through the Business Board."0 -
Do any of you know members of the business board that you can approach who would ask questions on behalf of investors?0

Open Session of the General Board of the General Assembly
For the heathens among us, where [address] will this be?0 -

The General Assembly is held at Church House, Fisherwick Place, Belfast.0 -

How about making a big banner with the quotation from an earlier post on it 'its in the churches interest , and yours ' and hanging it over the gallery.
along with other banners to embarrass the church into standing up to its moral obligations
Probably both of these ideas would do more harm than good, to be honest.0
