It might be worth dropping an email to Lord Myners to tell him what has happened.
Same system as the other Lords."Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"
Rev. Sidlow McFarland - Chairman's Report - PMS Annual Report and Accounts 20070 -

A quote in 'The Mail on Sunday',

"The key is that the members' interests are safeguarded,'he said. 'They are paramount."
"We simply can't lose Scotland's biggest building society,.."
So what's the diference to our situation?WEARY AND DISHEARTENED_pale_0 -
Interesting that Government have bailed out these financial institutions and more recently Dunfermline - which is a mutual albeit with FSA regulation. It has been five months now and no word re PMS -
Are our politicians really doing enough in support of our plight? -
I think Arlene Foster, Nigel Dodds and Peter Robinson need to step up and put pressure on Government - otherwise we will be forgotten about -
I too have sent emails to the Lords, Ladies and those in power - haven't received replies as yet. Except for Lady Hermon.
Very concerning!0 -

Fully agree with you - but the difference is that we were not FSA regulated -either because the Directors decided not to do so OR there was no provision for it through DETI.
They are dragging their heels on this and unless we go out to the policitians and ask - I'm afraid all of these letters will be put in their pending trays!!
I heard on the TV that the Government didn't want to see people queuing for their savings -
Our local Assembly wouldn't want to see this either - however we didn't do anything just talk -0
