Did anyone else see a new thread started on the NI board this afternoon?
It was called "Presbyterian Mutual Society"
There were a couple of posts on it, then it just seemed to disappear!
Anyone know where it went?"Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"

 oh b*m and we didn't get a chance to add to the abuse before it disappeared, we really could have let off some steam and 'filled our boots' with venomous and vitriolic comments, if we had known it was going to be pulled :rotfl: .
So much could have been said.
Just shows you though how well all posters to this thread have done in showing 'restraint' and caution in the way they have worded their comments :T .0 -

A small reference to PMS in Irish Times

Did you all see the excellent letter in the News Letter today.
Letters don't seem to be put online to post the link here.
It's quite short so I could type it in if you like?"Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"

That would be great goodbyepci if you could post it on forum. Thanks0

News Letter letters page today 26th Feb
Still not a chirp of comfort for PMS members
While the Moderator the Rev Dr Donald Patton and his party head off to Eastern Europe, Presbyterain Mutual Society members have to suffer in silence, with not a chirp of comfort for those hanging on to see what the administrator means when we hear the less comforting words “late summer for payment/dividend”.
Do the powers that be not know that there are extreme circumstances needing extreme measures? So far, any pleas have fallen on deaf ears.
Presbyterian Mutual Society must be receiving money,. If there is money where is it?
What’s being done with it?
Surely these extreme situations could be met in some way.
Let us see some action and less talk, otherwise the Presbyterian Church will find itself in similar circumstances as the Presbyterian Mutual Society.
Get down to the essentials-looking after the investors at home.
A very Angry and Disillusioned Presbyterian"Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"
