I think that may be part of PMS investment/commercial property?

Interesting letter in Newsletter today - don't know how to get the link.

From Londonderry Presbyterians - slamming M.O. saying that they had phoned PMS - CF many times and asked many important questions - but were still told - money only lent out to congregations, and the commercial properties in England, Scotland etc.

They also mentioned where CF had said in Newsletter dated 14th November - THE MONEY HASN'T GONE AWAY - Its understandable people think this but it just isn't true!!!!!

what makes you think we will ever get near to 80% ?

60%, 65%, or whatever the case may be - what I'm trying to say is how will we ever get the money back - it will take years and years and years!!!
  • Great piece in the Newsletter. Well done to the contributors. Well done to the Newsletter. They have been very faithful in presenting our articles and keeping the debacle to the fore. :j
We all have a responsibility to keep the momentum going so don't be frightened to write articles and explain your circumstances to the papers. We are ordinary people who have been let down but united we stand so we need to keep badgering the papers, the moderator, the politicians, anybody and everybody who will listen. We need to keep this going so that the heat is kept on the Presbyterian Church. The next few months are crucial in the lead-up to the week of the General Assembly in June when all eyes will be on the response of the Presbyterian Church and the new moderator, We cannot afford to make the situation too comfortable for the General Assembly otherwise they might believe that they are getting away with it. A few drops of sweat, a few sleepless nights and a few pricked consciences will not do any harm. After all how many of you have lost sleep and are in the nerves wondering how to cope with the practicalities of everyday living?

Yes Mark Orr, if you're reading this - we also asked CF mid October about the safety of our money. We got the same old speech everyone else did who asked. It was a good try to blame the investors for not asking the right questions but I think there was a bit of a problem with the right answers being given.

I have just been trying to work things out, might not be on right path !

FYI: It would be advisable for people to check facts before making allegations. Even a cursory check shows that Taggart Holdings was placed in administration by its bankers who were the Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank, not the PMS.

Apparently a lot of the Directors were not privy or aware of a lot of what was going on in the PMS - ie who they were lending money to!!!!

Surely the Administrator knows enough information now to get on with his work!!! -
