I think DA does understand. I have read what DA, Crazymess and Goodbyepci have written today and I somehow agree with all 3 of you if that is possible.
Yes I believe that PCI has liabilities as far as the PMS is concerned but I don't think that the entirety of the PCI is rubbish just because they have failed us in one important area.
I really don't know how to explain myself properly other than what I have already said so I hope it makes sense to some-one?
I agree with you fivealive - the PCI are very linked and very involved in this - and need to face up to their responsibilities with some form of financial help - they helped and were involved in us placing our money with the PMS.
However that does not mean that I am against the PCI in every other area of their work. They have just made a mistake - and need to get this rectified for the 10542? of their people who have become involved in this.0 -

10542?
That's a thousand more than we are always being told?"Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"

I'm nearly sure I saw that figure over the last 3 and a half months researching this!
Also I note that there are approximately 800 views on this thread per day now! Quite amazing - its the only form of communcation at present.
For those of you viewing - please post your thoughts and ideas -0 -
Can anyone tell me - how much has the PCI officially and currently got stashed in its coffers - real money vs investments? Suppose I am talking here as to what would be described as 'disposable income'.
The only figure I have heard is £43M in the general investment fund.
But Church House claim to have very little "free money", so don't know how it is tied up."Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"

No. I was home at the end of october for dads birthday. My mum had a call from a bank manager suggesting that she should move her and dads money. I went to see Colin Ferguson and he said that there was a 21 day notice on withdrawals but didnt give me any indication what lay ahead! I thought it was a temporary thing. Mums next door neighbour had the same call a few days earlier and got his money out!0 -

I wonder how they knew who had money in PMS, were they cold calling?"Our Society is one of the great successes of our Church"
