i bought a multi pack off eBay. Longer armed window holder, in car charger and a set of clips to hold it in the air vents... to be honest, i prefer it in the air vents.0

has anyone tried the beanbag dashboard mount, http://www.tomtom.com/products/accessories/accessory.php?ID=855&AccessoryCategory=5
will try giving the windscreen a good clean, but can see it happening again so would rather have a proper alternative, like the sound of the above but only if it actually works!Yes Your Dukeiness

I can't speak for the TomTom, but the old Garmin beanbag mount was brilliant.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0 -
When you stick it to the window turn the front part of it and it tightens itself up, I had exactly the same problem and found this out when my girlfriend told me how thick I was and just turned up as it makes it really secure.0

why make a new topic and end up having 50 threads on the same subject, it's neater and none of the info in the present topic is out of dateYes Your Dukeiness

^ totally with reehsetin on this one! If I had a pound for every "I need a new camera" or "how do I move my iTunes library" thread posted each week, I'd be rich!
The best glass cleaner by far (for inside and out of cars) is Autoglym's Fast Glass, it's very good indeed, and if your screen is particularly dirty, the glass polish is great too. Keeping it clean will definitely aid suction, after a few weeks there is quite a bit of build up of dirt on a windscreen, makes you wonder what you are breathing in all the time in traffic too...0
