Have you added up how many there's going to be?
    26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%
    28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%

Hey DD - if you've been a runner then i strongly believe the notion never leaves you (not that i'd know cause i stop n start every year! determined to run thru the winter this year and not need to retrain again for summer)

If you're swimming then it will only help your fitness in preparation for running... and the head space you get from running just cannot be beaten....

I think you could easily manage a 10k with minimal training.... it would be ace if this became a real DFW run!!!

Jane - you need to start by wearing trainers as i believe it isn't recommended that a person run in 4 inch heels, and that does seem to be all you ever buy/wear!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

As you're a skinny chick now too then running is a lot easier for you naturally as you don't have to carry excess weight... start by getting into your gear and walking for maybe a couple of miles... they do say walking is the best way to build muscle strength and you build up distance and introduce the running in later... so say a 4 mile walk with a 5 minute running section at the end... then you make that 8 minutes at the end, then 12 minutes, then 20 and before you know it you are running most of it....

6 miles would take the average runner around an hour, i'm aiming for 1.5hours as i generally need a 15 minte mile, but with training that will improve....

The other way to develop(which is how i began) is to go out walk a minute, run a minute for say 20 minutes... then expand length of time running, and duration of time out of the house...

An hours training twice a week will get your round a 10k course no bother....

I do own a pair for trainers lol and yes I do seem to only wear/buy heels they are 5" well the ones I have on today are lol but I do wear flats well almost flats honest...lol :rotfl:
I maybe able to manage that as the A..hole comes over twice a week so at least I would spend it hiding in my room lol... I am beginning to think this maybe a good idea... I have found rooms at the leeds travellodge £29 a night..
And I would so love to meet you Maz you seem just like my kinda woman..:D
