Yes, this happens a lot, the staff are not trained up to date. I had the same issue at housing benefit, the man I spoke to would not be told I was allowed to have all CSA now and it not affect my benefit. However a few days later he had to concede.

Ok, so finally the update on me...lol.

I have had, wait for it....drum roll please, for the first time ever in 11 years... A WHOLE PAYMENT !!!!!!!:beer::j:T:eek:

and I can have it because it does not affect housing benefit/council tax benefit.

So now we wait to see if the new attachment to earning brings some arrears......
