It's funny because all the Government keep going on about is how much parents want to pay for their chidren, but don't actually pay because a) it was too complicated - so they simplified it but still many don't pay, or b) the money wasn't going to their ex but the secretary of state - so they remove this and hey ho I'll be they won't pay then either - like your ex has said, now the reason for not paying is because you WILL be getting it!! Just any excuse after excuse as far as I can see.
  • I thought you could opt to have the payment still go to the CSA and thus not have to faff with all the crap?

I got my cheque this morning for sixty something or other, which is more than usual, but less than I should technically be able to keep. I am assuming this is because it's a part month due to the changeover a couple of weeks ago?

Does anyone know the phone number that you need to ring to IS that you are getting direct payment, ex has just transferred this months money into my account and I want to tell them asap. Not sure exactly who I need to phone though :o

As I understand it if you get IS/JSA and whatever the other one is called you have to declare what you get to the Job centre.
Unfortunately the crap still has to be faffed if you get job centre benefits....

Your local office (Job centre/advisor) did you not get the official letter with the form to report it on?

    NO!

The only letter I got was one was the one telling me everything was changing months ago, there was no form to fill it was just a little leaflet thing.

I did wonder what other posters were on about when they mentioned the form but I just assumed that because ex and I have told the CSA we are doing a private arrangement from now on that's why I've not had any forms sent to fill in.

Pants, will have to phone the Jobcenter on Monday.
