Thanks... tried to run that program after install. I get a windows dialog box "anti spyware encountered a problem and needs to close" before it even launches.
This is true of three malware removal programs I've tried installed to remove this spyware. it's clever... it also redirects certain search result clicks to drive traffic to bogus sites... and it flat out won't allow many legit malware sites to load (page not found).. It's completely hijacked my browser, when I'm able to get the browser to run at all. I have a screen shot of the "security warning" that attempts to sell me safesoft for $49 if you think that would help.0 -

Reboot your computer and keep hitting the F8 key
When the menu coems up select SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING

Well I don't know how but I have got rid of it .I started windows from an earlier time and some of the downloads I'd done have gone but so have the safesoft pop up, needless to say am most relieved ,thanks to everyone who tried to help and I hope this helps someone else.xXx-Sukysue-xXx0
