OMG how THICK (twp Tooch;) ) am I.
Just been to drop DS off at football training and as per usual I had to pull my seatbelt down...then it occurred to me that it is probably adjustable. Stopped for petrol, looked at 'thing' where seatbelt is anchored to car and sure enough it is. It was set at the highest (tallest) setting. I am 5' 4" if I stand straight! So down it comes, in I get...bliss - much better.
I have had the car for 5 years...
Glad you're here Tooch - practising my Welsh:rotfl:

greenbee, thanks again, yes it did, sounds like a chaotic time for you at the minute. Hope it's not too stressful x
Well done soappie, good deals aren't offered as often at the mo
toochoosey sites playing up for me aswell so popping onto others, I keep getting the 'apologies there is an error' message
Boys fed and bathed, DS2s sticky stuff from the plaster won't come off his leg properly but have soaked it, he won't let me pick it off. I've put some baked potatoes in to cook in the oven, one for my tea and some to have for lunch tomorrow and maybe freeze. I am going to get the boys to bed then make my dinner. Just beans on I think, I just can't be bothered to make anything more exciting just for me.....actually I wonder if there is some prawns still in the freezer.....I didn't see them when I looked to do the meal plan yesterday but sure I had some. Might watch Beat the Bank on BBC2....
I need to do the following tonight
Sort boys for bed
DS1s uniform out for in the morning, unsure if to send DS2 or not, will ask school what policy is I think it's a 48 hour one
Fill DW
Move airer to upstairs (for several reasons, Megan keeps walking past the clothes and putting hair on them, sick of sitting room looking like a laundrette, might motivate me to put them away quicker if they are upstairs)
Banking, need to shuffle money, pay some bills
Finish clearing kitchen bench
Put some of laundry mountain awayOne day I might be more organised...........

Valli - sometimes it takes a while for things to click. I remember a few years ago with my car, the electronic passenger window suddenly started to refuse to wind down. It was summer. I spent several weeks driving around being too hot because I couldn't open it and get a through breeze. I was just about to go to the garage to get it fixed when I discovered there was a little child lock button on my driver side door. I must have hit it accidently at one point. Once I clicked it the window opened again!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

yeah...but 5 years?
and I am supposed to be intelligent...
Valli - my reasoning for the lack of noticing of the button is that I'm such an intelligent lady, my life is so full of looking after my children, a home, budgeting, holding down a career and multi-tasking at every possible opportunity - I don't have time - like the male of the species - to read car manuals, TV manuals, hi-fi manuals (remote control manuals for heavens sakes!) - or any manual at all. Therefore, if it ain't clearly labelled, it does not have a hope of being used by me. I am not a boy who needs a new toy...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Have to confess that I didn't do this lot on my own - DH wanted to know what to do to help and did the bathroom and I did the shower room. I am a lucky woman and I told him so too!
Gryfon, sorry to hear your sad news. Lady-Liberty - will be thinking of you. Pink Fairy, your evening sounds like mine (knitting and a soak in the tub) - I am trying to finish a hooded scarf for DS-D2 so I can start the one for DS-D1 (they knit up quickly on big needles but I haven't done any knitting for a couple of days:o ).
This site has been distinctly "odd" today - and I'm sure I can't have read all the pages 'cos it wouldn't load some. Soto everyone here - the poorlies and the ones dealing with cr*p!
Obedient women are never remembered in History!
