Hi all

Well I went to the Dr about my ulcerative colitis & after examining my tummy he has found a 'lump':eek: don't know whether it is connected to that problem or possibly ovary. Anyhoo the upshot is I have to be at the hospital 9-00am tomorrow for an urgent scan, came as a huge shock, thought I was going to faint & of course can't contact DH until later because he is in a meeting. So feeling rather bleurgh at the moment... sorry to whinge...hope everyone else is doing OK lots of poorlies around earlier.

Anyone know a cure for writer's block? I'm run the website for one of the community things I'm involved with. Had an email today from someone about a possible web link up which will hopefully help us raise more money for charity.

I realised the website needs updating with latest news and have been trying to do that this last hour or so. I just don't know what to say though there's lots to say if you know what I mean.

Ahhh me, I'll get there in the end I guess - back to it.

soappie with community things I find a big statement of this is what we've come from and where we are now, this is what we need to get where we want to be, works well. Suppose depends what the group is and what you want to achieve.
Craftyscholar I only joined because other Flyladies were going on about it, but since then Facebook has put me in touch with friends and more importantly relatives who I had lost contact with. I can use it on my phone easily, it's a built in button on many phones now, so makes it easier for some to use. I like the way can upload pictures and videos aswell which is why I thought it was a good idea for this group, links can be posted and stay there for future reference, we can keep it also as a private group so only members can view everything.
MBTs I looked at those, they are ever so expensive so stopped looking!
boddy not long until you retire is it? Does sound like it could be stress from work if you are better when you are off work.
I thought greenbee was due back by now? Just wanted to thank her for my thingamy.....TRV...

Right, DPs got right on my nerves, gone from a considerate ish person to an ignorant lump who threw a complete strop because I was going to be late from DS2s appointment even suggesting I left without him being seen. He couldn't have been more ignorant if he tried, so I told him he was a slinky, hence my FB message.

Ok needed to get that off my chest, not a very productive day so far but have threw out loads of junk and recycling stuff so must be getting something right. Need to feed the kids now and will potter as it's cooking. They need bathing too, need to get plaster sticky stuff off DS2s leg.

Just had a cold call from my main bank. For once, it was an Englishman so I decided to listen. He wanted to set me up with a new savings account which I've accepted (reasonable deal - pays more interest than I'm getting at the moment) but I also got him to approve me a credit card with 0% balance transfer for 13 months with a v. nice limit. I have two 0% ers coming to an end very shortly and the limit will cover both of those balances.

I wouldn't have had the knowledge nor the courage to negotiate such things if it hadn't been for MSE! I salute you all :T :beer: :T

I was right, I'm pooped.. these full days of cleaning seem to be taking their toll on me, I've got another one tomorrow 7hrs altogether with driving inbetween :eek: at least I can say I've flown in 3 houses today from top to bottom (but none of them mine lol)

Bunged some new pots in a pan for tea, got some fish I think that we can have with it, if not freezer surprise......can't be assed to do the pc room (I knew this would happen) so it may have to wait until the w/e....no biggie I'm happy I did the bathroom at least.

So, gonna do tea, then have a bath, then sort littley out, then watch tv, then go to bed! :cool:
