Kinda gross but I had to share (sorry). I just got my washer dryer filter unscrewed, and boy did it smell!!!!!!! I know this doesn't sound that fab, but yesterday I dicovered I had benn trying to open it the wrong way and it got stuck, so after dispairing over what to do I had a brainwave, checked the electrolux website and discovered I can buy spares, and so took my trusty pliers to it...and it worked!!!!:j :j :j and I didn't wreck it (we're in rented)!!!!:j :j :j Okay, random excitement over

  • Hello. :hello:

Back from doc's with more meds, another week off and orders to rest!

OK, so I'll still need to potter, otherwise the house may fall down around our ears. :p

    Valli - can I have it then?:o

Got a feeling I've lost a page so will go back and check.

Thanks all. Ok I didn't see him that often but it seems strange to think I'll never see him driving around to wave to if you get me.

Trying to sort out photos for photography club tonight which is a pain as I have about 5 to choose from and I only need 3!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

A great mince meal we recreated after finding it on a pub menu when we were students.

onion and mince fried together till cooked
add a tin of oxtail soup
    a tin of baked beans
    and some sweetcorn

serve with whatever you like - we usually do rice or mash, although originally it was served to use in a giant yorkshire pudding.

Yum yum. a 250g pack of mince will do us about 6 largish portions, you could pad it out, but we often don't to keep the flavour.

sorrreeeeee! i didn't realise i had tempted so many of you with the dish, and you were hanging on for the recipe.

I've managed to get both boys to have a kip which is a real result as charlie normally thinks he is too old for one. So i've washed up and now i'm on here.
  • OK, I had lost a page. Gryfon - sorry for your loss.

Still lots more poorly flyladies around, so we need to look out for each other (no one else is. :p especially soggy dogs and muddy footed OHs!!!)

Anyone for a :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:, I've just brewed for lunch time?

Got my inspiration in the end from the market. Two nice cauliflowers for £1.50. So, one will be blanched and frozen, the other will be put in a cheese sauce for dinner tonight along with home made rats tails (I've loads of peppers in for some reason) and Tesco's Finest Oven chips
