  • I wish I could, Soappie! Just wondering how many cowboys you need for Cowboy hash, but no one's sharing the recipe secret. IF DD was not home I would make Glamorgan sausages (she doesn't like them )

Craftyscholar - I just find it a good way to keep in touch (and get back in touch) with people. I'm also sad enough to enjoy doing the jigsaw puzzles on there, and word games. I find it very social (like this thread) and as I don't socialise much other than through work or college, it's fun!

:coffee: swigged, so off to doc's.

Lady-Liberty - hope you feel much better soon. Take things slowly. Would you prefer a herbal :coffee:?

Thanks Pink Fairy that would be lovely, may soothe my insides & warm me up at the same time, it's freezing here today.

How did you get on at the Dr?

  • Okay - here we go - first post after joining :j

Am still poorly so will be taking it easy - actually feel worse today (day 3) than when I was first off work - sooooo frustrating

My rough game plan is to do the dailies plus two HHC / HHI each day - I may be crawling rather than flying today though :rotfl:

    Dailies

    Make beds
    S&S Kitchen
    Hoover / sweep floors
    Wash & dry dishes
    Put washload in / out
    Make packed lunches

    Extra mission
Make a spreadsheet showing the housework to be done each week

Will pop back later to let you know how I get on.

:grouphug: to everyone else who is poorly today xxx

    Morning all

Trouble with the site to start with but it seems to have speeded up now (hope I haven't jinxed it!).

Pouring with rain here, one load of washing hung up indoors. The weatherman said dry until lunchtime so I hung it out to start with. He was lying.

I've done the bathroom/toilet right through. Still not happy using it, I hate having anything new.

I've also given the living room a good go. Pulled all the furniture out and washed down the skirting boards etc and damp wiped everything in the room. Gave it a good vacuuming and carried on through the hallway and kitchen. Found the right paint in the cupboard and went over a few bits on the living room walls that wouldn't wipe off. It badly needs decorating but that has to wait until we've got upstairs sorted and saved up for new furniture and carpet.

Hope all the poorly people feel better soon.

This was slow to post so I don't think everything is right yet!
