That GPs surgery is usually very good but just called 'the GP tried to call you this morning' you must have been taking your son to school erm no, I haven't left the house because he's ill and the last missed call on my phone is from last night (1471) grrrr. Anyway waiting for the GP to phone back.

That aside based on freezer contents and what I know is in the cupboard I have just done a meal plan which needs minimal extras, good news is a lot is from batch cooks so less cooking for me aswell! I was going to do a large shop today but seems that is not needed, especially as I need to clear the freezers for Christmas.

Going to post a few links on the facebook site of cleaning stuff, tips and hints sites. I think I might end up using the list off there today as this sites getting on my fluffing nerves, what is Martin playing at?
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Lil_me - glad there's some improvement with DS. Washing hands thoroughly is the best thing anyone can do to avoid catching bugs. Talking of which, did anyone happen to hear Steve Wright's show a few weeks ago when he was talking about a survey that had been carried out? Apparently 25% of commuters tested had faecal bacteria on their hands! Eeeeeeeeeeeugh! And the worst area was up north with the worst offenders being the men. However, what they didn't mention was it may not necessarily have been their fault. How many times do you see people leaving public lavatories without washing hands? How many men do you see coming out of a lavatory adjusting their flies? (Does that mean they wash their hands with their flies undone? I don't think so!) Gross!!!!!

Anyway, lady on FB was added as a friend ages ago, but just happened to be on line at same time earlier, so it was nice to share a couple of "Mum" memories.

    I've now:
    • Taken DS to work
    • SS'd bathroom and shower room
    • SS'd kitchen
    • Put on wash load
    • Put on coffee pot! Work colleague has to come and collect some papers for some of my candidates she's seeing tomorrow.
Any ideas for dinner, folks? Oh, and I think they were talking about MBTs on GMTV coz they were talking about bad backs.

And I've got the doc at 12.00!

    Today I have:

Got up (major undertaking as children not at school!) and got dressed
    Fed and changed the baby
Taken the dog to the vets (thankfully she's fine, didn't flinch during the injection and is in good health apart from a bit of dandruff)
    Put the dishwasher on

DD1 is watching telly I think, DS is playing on his Nintendo DS and DD2 is pushing a large fire engine around the house (we took a window out between study and kitchen so you can now run all the way around the house!).

Having a cup of coffee and then I have clothes to sort out.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible
  • Good morning everybody. I hope the poorly people feel better soon.
Strange things have been happening in my house. Mr CS blames the pinning. Yesterday a sheet of German homework appeared on the little cabinet at the back of my living room. The only person ever to learn German in this house was my son who left home 6 years ago. Goodness knows where the sheet of German homework came from.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

I really must get dressed and do something! I've been lost in 19th century England for about an hour.I've had my bath and came back to my bedroom to discover the dear dog had managed to find a toilet roll from somewhere and has carefully shredded it all over the bedroom floor! I also need to find something to eat.

Hey ho - where's the morning gone?
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
  • Right, so far today:
    • all up dressed etc. Realised i forgot to feed the kids when we went up to clean teeth (both had milk and DH made me some porridge, and i am that tired i just forgot  )
    • made charlie a grapes/cheese/breadsticks - substantial early snack to make up for no breakie, and sam chewed on some cheese too
    • WM on with a load of darks
    • WM on again with bibs and tea towels
    • took the dry duvets i washed earlier in the week upstairs and folded on our bed
    • window cleaners came, so i paid them
    • unpacked an elc delivery that came yesterday
    • purees out of freezer to defrost for DS2
    • cowboy hash out of the freezer to defrost for mine and DH's evening meal
not working at much of a capacity so far today. We weren't doing bad, but then Charlie tumbled down all of the stairs head first, so lots of cuddles and checking he hadn't broken anything for a bit, and that is on top of his fat lips where he kissed the pavement yesterday. I hope no-one thinks i've been beating him up.

DS1 and myself will have some leftover stew from yesterday for our lunch, so not much cooking for me to do today - just sort DS1 some tea, and maybe cook some rice to go with ours.

I might read a bit of my library book - Charlie's well engaged with a book of coloured paper i got him to draw in - oh wow!, and Sam currently asleep catching up from last nights wakenings i dare say. I might also change our bedding today if i get chance, then i can wash that tomorrow.

hope you all have a good one. x
