Borning all and welcome from the town of Snotsville
Polka - welcome back and well done on the weight loss and the not smoking - keep it up!
Welcome new people
I am seriously snotty this morning - the sort of snot that sits up high in your sinuses like a lump of soggy cotton wool and won't shift however hard you blow. Sorry if that's TMI so early in the morning.
DiL's Dad came over yesterday and fitting the new kitchen light - it's so much better! It's a rack with spots that you can move about. Still haven't found the optimum configuration but that will come over time.
I'm going to have a nice soak in a moment in a steamy bath in a moment to see'f that'll help shift stuff. Today I'm going to potter I think. I'll wash the cushion covers and do some ironing. That'll keep me quiet. I might also go down into town - it's market day - and get some veg.
Hmmm, another cup of tea required I think before I get into the bathI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

:hello: I'm here! Have no energy though and feel really rough. I have a feeling it's my diet as my insides are complaining as well which isn't pleasant
Got to take the dog to the vet at 10am for her boosters so I think I'm just going to take it easy until then. Hopefully after that my energy levels will have perked!
Hope all the ill people feel better soonFluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Unexpectedly home today as I've gone down with the sicky bug that's going round the school. Shove up on that sofa sarah - I'm joining you for the day!
I was fine all day yesterday, got loads done, then felt yuck about 6pm, and went to bed, leaving DS1 to cook tea, which he did fine. The cookery lessons every Friday are paying off!
Had to get up early though to ring agency and email school. I had to rejig the work that was planned for today, as most of it involved powerpoints, and temp agency staff can't use the pc's.
I think I'll risk a cup of tea, and put the heating back on - I'm freezing! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Flower, that's some hours your putting in, don't burn yourself out
Michelle ((hugs)) for you and little snotty boy, poor thing and poor you having to do the yoyo routine with having the cold yourself. Take it easy, pottering still helps keep on top of things but don't overdo it x
SarahS are you ever going to be right? Hope you feel better soon.
PF amazing who you find, I have 'children' I babysat on mine, one has her own little boy now which made me feel old!
soappie, you'll always be changing them if you are anything like me, depends what time of year it is as to where mine point aswell.
serena hugs it's here too
DS2s not been sick since yesterdaybut still horrible the other way, yuk. Keeping him in pants as much as possible (trousers creates more washing and pantless allows for accidents too much) Thinking back with tummy upsets it is rare he's sick more than once. I'm just sort of waiting for us to get it but have been washing my hands constantly etc.
I am waiting for a 9.30am phone appointment from the doctors about DS1s meds, as you can tell they are late. I was going to bake but with the bugs, I think it might be best not to and just to do the bread. I need to have a cupboard shake out today, see what is lurking and how much I can save buying. I might look for a bagel recipe, something I have been buying but could do with not having to, I made them last year and remember boiling them I think it was, it's not the cost that is annoying I find now if buying bread stuffs, it's running out and having to go to the shop for them! One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
serena - hope you are feeling better soon.
I am off again but its a poorly DD1 this time - full of cold - even a 13hour sleep hasnt helped.
Site not great again today so going to find yesterdays list and work from that i did the bathrooms then so its more my own bits that I need to get on with.
will try back later to see if its working any better.0 -
