So much for a relaxing evening!
I went upstairs for a soak in the bath. DH was taking DS to GF's, so I said lock the front door. Off he went while I wallowed. He came back and I could hear him bringing someone in - my work colleague that I've been expecting since 10.30am! She didn't have time earlier, so came in on her way home from college, so I had to cut short my wallow and sort some papers/files out for her. When I'm in the bath is the only time my breathing's easier at the moment.
Having missed Little Dorrit coz of colleague, I sat down to watch The Red Arrows for a while and managed the first half hour, then DH did the pick up of DS from GF and DD from college. They came in and talked non-stop for the next half hour, so I gave up! As they are often at loggerheads, it makes a nice change.
Now, I'm going to bed!If you see this Lady-Liberty, I will be thinking of you in the morning. You probably won't be thinking of posting! x

So glad that I have found this thread and all u lovely people on it. My house is beginning to look slightly tidier and cleaner. Not that any of the family have noticed. I even cooked them spag bol and not one of them acknowledged it. Should have made them eat chips and nuggets. Might do tomoro as I am working all day.
Any hoo hope everyone is good and is sitting or sleeping in their lovely tidy and clean houses.:p0 -

Rose, the fact they didn't acknowlegde the spag bol is really good news! It means you can do it again! You can rest on your laurels smugly and quietly thinking that at least they ate something healthy! Keep at it lass. You may not get acknowledgment from your family, but we'll applaud you all the way!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening all
Hugs to all the poorlies hope everyone feels better soon.
Lady-liberty i will also be thinking of you tomorrow, i hope it all goes well.
Hugs to Gryfon.
Flying has gone badly wrong this week:rolleyes: well, Monday and Tuesday were ok but it's been downhill since.
I went shopping with OH today and got some more christmas presents which i've just wrapped ( apart from Ds1's as he's not long gone to bed;) .) OH got me a new phone for christmas so i could give Ds1 my old one so he's got a phone. He's annoyed though as my new one has a camera and bluetooth and all this other stuff i can't work outand my old one is just a bog standard phone without any extras. I told him he shouldn't have lost his and he'd still have a good one;) .
I've got Toddlers in the morning and Ds2 has nursery in the afternoon ( to make up for when he was ill) so i'm going to try and play catch up in the afternoon. I don't want to carry much over to the weekend as i want to have some relaxing time and family time. That's the plan anyway:rolleyes:

Craftyscholar I only joined because other Flyladies were going on about it, but since then Facebook has put me in touch with friends and more importantly relatives who I had lost contact with. I can use it on my phone easily, it's a built in button on many phones now, so makes it easier for some to use. I like the way can upload pictures and videos aswell which is why I thought it was a good idea for this group, links can be posted and stay there for future reference, we can keep it also as a private group so only members can view everything.Right, DPs got right on my nerves, gone from a considerate ish person to an ignorant lump who threw a complete strop because I was going to be late from DS2s appointment even suggesting I left without him being seen. He couldn't have been more ignorant if he tried, so I told him he was a slinky, hence my FB message.0

Good night LL xxOf course you were as you are so organised and efficient and i am not. lolAnd to think I've actually met six of them
Froddy - please tell Sexy we're missing her and hope she has a fabby time...and suggest she collects lots and lots of lovely artefacts for resourcing history and geography lessons...
Hi newbies - Toots will tell you that she's sorry she can't welcome you in true flylady fashion...and the thread HAS been behaving oddly or I would have said this earlier for her. Your house didn't get in a mess in a day, it won't get cleaned in a day. Follow the lists to as high a level as you can manage, and lots of us wil tell you not to carry lists over - that's just depressing...the rooms will all come round again in a week or so - and the extras too. Flower will tll you to watch out for the flyladies with OCD ... the really organised laundry obsessed ones...as if there could be such a flylady:rotfl: who colour match lots of odd things and 'like' ironing .
Pigpen is godlike - omnipresent and omniscient (ooh err missus) - it's a lovely place to be and after a few weeks here so is my house! Heck even drawers and cupboards are clean and tidy in Valliland ...
So (as it is wine o'clock...)I want to say thanks to you all for encouragement, support, laughs and friendship...I blurry love you xxDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm quite pleased with what I managed even though I was out from 8am to 4pm today. I wouldn't normally have tackled the bathroom with 2 small children at 4.30pm. I got a lot done in 30mins and they managed to play nicely!!
Thanks for the motivation I can see how this will work over time.0 -
