DD myself, explainig said friend is naughty/not nice?0

Bit late Tooch - sorry
I'm a bit awful ...when 'friends' swore and DD and DS copied I told mine they have been brought up to know better...it's a shame their 'friend' hasn't got a mummy who 'really' cares about them...
(In fact DD now mentions friends at school who have parents who don't care...)
BTW I use the same arguments for why I won't allow them to drink alcopops...
***humph*** fancy making alcoholic drinks that are easy/tasty to drink and then wondering why there is a problem with teen drinking...it's not rocket science, is it?
That gets me out of all the 'but so-and-so's mum lets her...' arguments...' I just play the 'well I care about you more than so-and-so's mummy cares about her' card!
Now they are older I still won't have it - I will not be sworn at and I tell friends round here they will be asked to leave if they swear again...obviously they will have sworn once...
And it is why I was able to tell exOH today that DS does not go out (ie outside, unwatched, at night) with his GF who is only 13...her parents won't allow it; I won't - they don't even ask...
I am watching the shopping channels...loads of jewels ***sigh***Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

 Thanks for the hugs everyone!
Went to photography club and didn't win anything which was pants. Haven't done any housework so the house looks like a bomb site and I'm exhausted but too tired to go to bed!
Hugs to those who need them and roll on tomorrow...Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Goodnight everyone as well.... God I am SO tired. I've made stock tonight, pasta for lunches tomorrow and tomorrows dinner as my friends are coming over and I don't want to spend all night in the kitchen. I have had to wait for everything to cool down ---- I just want to sleep.
And DH just sat in the living room mucking about on his computer when there is a huge pile of ironing along with the ironing board and iron all set up. It was his day off today and he is a bit hungover but c'mon....when is my day off? I did housework all night along with picking up and clearing up all day after him and bambino. He doesn't half get under my feet when he is at home! Oh well at least the house looks lovely now I'm flying... apart from the ironing pile.
Anyhoo... I need my beauty sleep.
Have a good Friday tomorrow. xx0 -
....when is my day off?
Day off?
Fat chance!
If/when he complains that X hasn't been done...hand him the necessary equipment (because Lord knows HE won't be able to find it) and politely, but firmly, suggest that IF he wants it doing he had better do it.
Hang on ...Valli looks in mirror to see if is still same person...yep...ignore ALL marital advice from anyone who has been divorced..not once but twice:rotfl:
On a positive note however ...I divorced THEM...as have better things to do than pander to idle useless good for nothings...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
