    evening all

not caught up i'm afraid (or flown). Was lateish home after my course and then by the time dinner etc was done all I've had time for is the online shop (managed enough for 3 weeks even though only a week left on GC and still with in the month's budget (so next month should be cheap!)

DH is very stressy at the moment and had a go at me earlier. He's apologised now though.

I have to work Sat which is a pain as I'm shattered already, I might try and take monday off, plus I have next thurs & fri off which is good as away at a conference Tues-wed.

Hope all are ok and hope to catch up over the weekend...

Watching the news, depressing with all the job losses. DP was saying how quiet it is at work. It's such a sad time, my DPs brother has been out of work due to the close down of most building sites, friends who work for BT and Virgin looking at loosing their jobs (BTs nasty because a lot of it's staff are on yearly renewed temp contracts and have been for several years so the 'we'll be loyal to the permenant staff' thing is a lie, it's because they have so few permenant staff) I think it's just so worrying for everyone at the minute there is no wonder so many are ill with stress levels through the roof etc. I think with this it's even more important that we have support like this, if I had to be without my internet connection it would seriously do me in as people like you all on here keep me going.

CS yes still breathing, I don't know what has gone into him lately but he's being even more of a split person than ever. Our Facebook group is only invited or members who have requested, if you tried to view it now and were not a member you can't see any of the pages.
PF ((hugs)) poor you, sounded like such a lovely plan aswell
soappie I have met them all, but not this years team I don't think as it's changed since 1998, few of the other staff aswell :D most of them were lovely. This years team just a few were at the airshow. My boys are Red Arrows mad.
hollyh we haven't allowed my boys to have one yet (only 9 and 7) but DS2s decided he wants DPs new N96, about £500 they are :rotfl: like heck would I get him one.
Triker 1/2lb could be just you needing the loo, don't stress over it ((hugs))

I have not done everything on my list yet, but done most of it, just the kitchen I have lost motivation with because it never stays nice due to other people dumping and me being naturally untidy.

Teachers amongst us, does every school have the 48 hour rule for tummy upsets, that they shouldn't go back until there has been at least 48 hours since the last sick/poop episode? I don't want grief off school for not sending him in, last explode was last night, I was going to keep him off tomorrow aswell.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

  • So Tired today, was woken at 6.30am by the delivery of the free paper!
couldn't get back to sleep but alarm was due to go off at 7am anyhow, but I really could have done with that extra 30min even though I went to bed early last night :(

Today is a working day for me so, had a quick wipe round in the kitchen and washed up breakfast stuff and set out most bits required for tonight's dinner before heading to work via pre-school drop off.

Got home at 6pm very tired from riding against the wind and very very wet! ate dinner and had 5 minutes rest before the little one came home with nanny and grandy.

mega zap of the bathroom once the little one was in bed! (
Will mop the floor in the morning I think.) Now it's all done and nice and fresh I shall go get a nice shower!

We do advise it ...these bugs spread like wildfire sometimes BUT we tend to find the kiddies with SAHM mummies are kept at home and those whose mummies work are sent in...I am appalled by the number of kiddies who complain of being unwell then tell you they have been sick in the night...

Personally I keep mine off until they are eating properly, too...how can they have a day at school when they are tired, haven't eaten properly and have been unwell? Having said that they are rarely ill...but DS is still shocked at the effect of his last bug - he must have lost half a stone and he hasn't a spare ounce on him anyway (lucky child...)
