Why do I always feel completely hopeless when I see what some of you have achieved :rotfl: Today started off badly with being tired, sort of got a bit better around lunchtime and then went downhill from there ending up with my suffering with my back and legs!
I think I might crawl around the lounge and tidy as I go
Aww Gryfon don't feel like that. We all have off days, CBA days, tired days, busy doing other stuff days and HUNGOVER DAYS. Sorry Sarah didn't mean to shout;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
As the weeks go on you'll find it gets so much easier anyway.0 -

I always do a creamy one, but I hasn't got none.
basic white sauce (using milk) with some blue cheese crumbled in, num, num, num - in fact I think we will have this on ours
red wine into the juices and reduced slightly
garlic butter pat melted on top
fry some onion, caramelise with some sugar, then add the steak juices and a bit of beef stock to make an onion gravy
I likes me steak I does.
[STRIKE]Need to empty DW[/STRIKE], [strike]hoover downstairs[/strike], [strike]de-clutter LR and stairs etc[/strike], work out why the tv isn't working, [strike]iron some clothes[/strike] for the rest of the week, [strike]clear out the ashes and put the fire on before we freeze and think of something for dinner[/strike].
Not bad for me after work. Is it wine-o-clock yet?

Just seen your what you've done post. To achieve all that with a baby in tow I would call being very busy and achieving alot.
When DD 2 (5) was smaller I never got anything done at all. Mainly because she had no siblings to play with and had no interest in the tv whatsoever. So Mummy was her daily entertainment. I can tell you she was harder work than having my older 3 with only a four year age gap between all 3 of them.
Well done you!:T0 -

?
Only if you have already cooked dinner, and finished all the Mum's taxi runs!
I'm still on tea and choc fudge cake!
The delivery arrived 30 minutes after I went out - just an hour and a half late on the guaranteed time. Good job DD was in to sign for it. Argos totally failed to cope with the fact that I had reserved the PS3 bundle in two stores as neither had all the bits. Several supervisors summoned, and then they couldn't get the till to sort it. I have however, finally got it home! Under considerable pressure from the boys to open it 'Just to check it's all okay'. I don't think so.:DIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

I have finished with the ironing press - now that is lethal after a glass or two!
Mean mummy. I am hopeless at resisting puppy dogs eyes and pleading and mine know it.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Not me, puppy dog eyes and pleading do not weaken me. It's the thought of huffing and puffing, and intense sighs that gets me down. I don't crack though! I won't let them open anything till Christmas... even presents from Brownies/Guides or from school. They have to go under the tree! I am HARSH!

Aww Carol. All the best drivers fail their driving test the first time;) That's because once you have failed you become a professional learner.;)
I failed mine twice, though I was convinced I'd passed. When I took it the third time I was convinced I'd failed........but I'd passed with only 3 minors:rolleyes:
Don't leave it to long. Bang in for it again.
Not sure if the "bang" is really appropriate but I agree go for it again as soon as you can, commiserations and best of luck for next time.
I pride myself on the fact that I passed first time after only 20 lessons -but - they were all on the North Circular - and I'd been riding a motorbike for 7 years (not that I ever took that test). Speaking of which, DH learned to drive in the army, could drive everything from a mini to a tank, to a 4-tonner, drove 13 car transporters, but ................ took 3 goes to pass his bike test! :rotfl:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
