toochoosey...just attach it to a free USB port and a window should open and you want to sync files to it. We have 3 blue ones here :rotfl:

OMG I go AWOL for two or three days and you chatted HOW MUCH!!!!!!!

Reporting for duty but with so much to catch up on not sure how much I shall achieve.

Had a text from toots she is ok but VERY bored, missing flying  and missing everyone here. She says hi and hopes to be back tomorrow but there is the possibility of a bus strike so she may be stranded at her mum's for a while longer. Will keep you posted ;)

    Morning all

Is the site being a bit weird for anyone else?

Terrible weather, pouring with rain. One load of washing draped round indoors.

The blind man (space for joke...........) has been and measured up for bathroom/toilet blinds so hopefully it will be all finished soon. Also got him to quote for bedrooms for later this year/early next year.

Will start cleaning when DD2's boyfriend gets up. She's gone to work :D

Monday is kitchen day for me anyway. I've done some tidying up and all the washing up is done and put away. I've also sorted out all the paintbrushes/rollers etc and they're back in the garage until next weekend when we hope to start the little bedroom. That should be fun with the amount of books and DVDs etc to move out. Can't wait.

So I will wipe everything down out there in a minute and then vacuum a bit later.

So nice not to have people in the house this week.
  • Well done, Gryfon - I once played one of those in a play. Random thought!

Wish I could remember how to do photos properly(last time I tried it was huge!). I could put my tip on here to motivate me when I'm better.

Took DS to work and found a shop called What! so bought some door stops. DH will push the bedroom door closed and I need it open as I get claustrophobic (if I'm home alone I don;t shut the bathroom door) and to hear DS if he has a bad night.

Just watching a nice prog on History Channel about War Heroes with someone who has two VCs carved on his headstone, the only one in the world. I can't tell you what it is as the schedule says it's Michael Aspel presenting the Antiques Roadshow. Another one starting now - VC Heroes of the Crimea! Don't think she got that right as the commentator is talking about 1944!

I've just done a 10MC and hung up washing in shower room (trying not to use TD too much, esp if heating is on), reloaded washing, fed dogs and fish, degunked fridge. Now sitting down with a :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: if anyone would care to join me.

Gryfon - you can see how hard you have worked. I always find photos helpful - sometimes I post the before to shame myself into doing the after.

At home today so starting at the back door and working in. So far I have put the WM and TD on, and cleaned out the landrover. If it stops raining long enough I might see if I can fit the carper washer in the boot to clean up the exploded washing liquid from last year.

anyone up for a 10.30 to 11 or I will just sit here and do nothing? Fatal to switch computer on or is that just me?
