I'm in this week, and will tackle the kitchen later. I've got to work out how to get this piece of carpet down in the lounge. It weighs a ton! And I've got to shift all the furniture around to get it in, then cut it to size. The invoice says it's 11' 3" x 4m!!! I'll have to do it myself because DH won't bother and it will just lie in the hallway being tripped over.
NOOOO:eek: Not on your own, please. Is there no-one else who can help you?

I'm making a patchwork bag (backpack type) and I've made the front. I did the two halves for the back, and was going to sew the zip in when I discovered I'd done two right sides  so I spent two hours last night unpicking all the strips. So today I'm going to get on with that and finish it. Saturday is the day I have the lesson and it wasn't a good day - I forgot my sewing kit for a start
Been there done that (both of them:rotfl:) Try calling it 'reverse sewing'.
